Hello, rekindled summer.
Its weird because.. You were mine once. I called you baby, and you were my boyfriend. We were happy, and we were happy together. We said fuck the talking stage, ‘cos we flirt, we get a long great, we like each other, &we absolutely love being around each other. That else is there? What time needs to be wasted “talking” ? We knew how different we are from each other, our pasts since day one, &we weren’t on that personal level yet. But, that’s what made the best of it. Learning something new about each other everyday, trying to figure each other out, wanting to know more.. Falling in love with each new little known detail. Finding out we aren’t as different as we may seem on the inside. It’s weird how i find myself running back to you sometimes. Letting you cross my mind from time to time when i know i shouldn’t in the first place. Catching myself thinking i want you back, in my arms, claimed as mine. How pathetic of me.
